Autumn Breaks and Halloween in Torquay

Posted on October 24th 2016 by

The leaves on the trees are falling, the weather has turned a bit colder but Autumn is most definitely one of my favourite seasons and it appears my returning guests would agree as we continue to see an increase in people heading to the Devon coast for a pre Christmas escape.

Torquay is famous for being a great Summer location but it is beautiful all year round with breathtaking landscapes that change on a daily basis. I do a very similar walk most days which is around the Meadfoot area but it feels like the walk is different every time. The sunrises and sunsets I see daily definitely rival some of the best across the world and I can say that with confidence having travelled extensivley. The great thing about Torquay is the fact it enjoys a very mild climate throughout the year and has its own little micro climate.

Just around the corner is Halloween and Torquay really does have some great options to explore. Here is a sneak peak at what's happening:

Halloween Fun (22 Oct 2016 - 31 Oct 2016) - Kents Cavern

Super Villains Week (23 Oct 2016 - 30 Oct 2016) - Living Coasts Torquay

Halloween Festival (24 Oct 2016 - 30 Oct 2016) - Cockington Torquay

Halloween Evenings of Mini Horrors (25 Oct 2016 - 31 Oct 2016) - Babbacombe Model Village

Optimus Halloween Convention 2016 (29 Oct 2016 - 30 Oct 2016) - Cockington Court

Wishing everyone a great half term and Halloween weekend from us all here at The Meadfoot Bay
