“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” So wrote Virginia Woolf and it's a sentiment we agree with wholeheartedly here at the Bay and it's why our brasserie is such an important part of of what makes Meadfoot Bay the place it is.
Since its launch at the beginning of the year our Brasserie at the Bay has proved incredibly popular with guests and locals alike who appreciate good cooking and great value in equal measure. Our menu offers a range of perennial favourites with the addition of chef's specials which we hope means there's something to suit all tastes. From River Exe mussels to locally grown Devon beef the emphasis is on good, wherever possible, locally sourced ingredients cooked with love and care.
Equally important is our wine list and indeed our bar offering in general. Again you'll find a common theme there too. Quality and value. From our growing collection of ten plus gins, with an emphasis on local producers wherever possible, to our wine list which was whittled down to a selection after extensive tastings. It's a tough job but....
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free
We try to cater for all needs here at the Bay that why you'll find that many dishes are gluten free or have a gluten free option. For other dietary needs all we ask is that you make us aware at time of booking and chef will be more than happy to cater for your specific requirements should you not find anything suitable on our menus..
The brasserie menu is available from 6.00pm - 9.00pm Tuesday through Saturday.
Sunday lunch is served from 12.00 to 2.30pm.
