Easter is a lovely time of year to enjoy South Devon at its spring best. The air is somehow clearer, the sky bluer which makes it perfect for exploring all that's on offer. Whether you decide to head for the gardens at Greenway or Coleton Fishacre, both of which are spectacular at Easter with rhododendrons bursting out all over! Or maybe head up to Dartmoor or over to Dartmouth for a lazy lunch (if you've got room), or perhaps head off along the South West Coastal Path which passes virtually in front of the hotel, you can do so knowing that on your return our collection of West Country gins await, including our very own Shag Rock. Come evening you'll then have the prospect of enjoying a three course dinner in our award winning restaurant each night of your stay. Come morning more temptation awaits at breakfast. And then when you leave us you'll find a goodie bag awaits with some more of Callum's treats to send you on your way. Hopefully to return in the not too distant future.

With cafes, bars and restaurants clustered around the marina, Torquay does have a very Mediterranean feel to it and of course the ever present palm trees help! Jewel of the English Riviera is offer a great base to discover the delights of South Devon and beyond. Within a 30 minute drive you can explore a different beach every day or head up onto the sweeping wilderness of Dartmoor. National Trust and English Heritage properties are all around and travel further afield and the Eden Project and Lands End are all doable in a day. more >>
We think it is in everyone's interest to be as transparent and flexible as possible when it comes to booking conditions. So at the Bay it is very simple. You can cancel your booking anytime up to 7 days before arrival with no penalty. Between 7 days and 48 hours of your arrival we offer two choices. First you can move your booking to an alternative date without penalty (though there may be adjustment either way depending on the prevailing room rate) or you can forfeit your deposit. Cancel within 48 hours of your arrival and you will be charged the full amount of your booking. Lastly in the event of a government enforced lockdown you can move your booking to another date or have your deposit refunded in full.
