First things first. If you're hankering after a view of the sea or sweeping views of the Devon countryside, alas Meadfoot will not float your boat. Located as we are on a gracious residential street and stunning vistas are not on offer. However beautiful Meadfoot Beach is but a three minute walk away so bracing sea air is available on demand!

Also please do bear in mind that Meadfoot was never designed as a hotel but a gracious private residence. As a result in becoming a hotel and being extended over the years, the rooms are all shapes and sizes and the layout can be a little labyrinthine, all of which we think adds to the charm. 

Our bedrooms, of which we have just 14, are named after some of the coves on our beautiful South Devon coastline. And just like coves you'll find no two are identical. They comprise of four different types: Suites, Deluxe, Classic and Standard. They are located on one of three floors (please note there is no lift here at Meadfoot Bay).

 

Naturally all are ensuite, with fresh linen and fluffy towels provided, as well as complimentary toiletries from The White Company, and of course a hairdryer. You'll also find some other extra touches such in your room such as fresh milk and complimentary water in your mini fridge

as well as some of Chef Callum's delicious shortbread biscuits.

 

In addition to these niceties they have tender loving care lavished upon them every day by our great team of housekeepers who take your satisfaction very seriously. Should you require extra towels either leave them a note or ask reception.

Please note we are an adults only hotel WITH NO FAMILY ROOMS. Children must be accompanied by an adult and be over 14. Proof of age may be requested.
